Rindge, NH Real Estate - Rindge, NH is a small town located in hilly lake region on the southern end of Cheshire County, New Hampshire.  Rindge is bordered by Contoocook Lake on the north and Lake Monomonac on the south, and borders the north end of the state of  Massachusetts.  Rindge includes the towns of Rindge Center, East Rindge, West Rindge and Converseville.  It was incorporated in 1768.

Rindge is home to many antique stores, farm stands and bed-and-breakfasts.  It is also home to 18 “great ponds”.  These ponds offer fishing, swimming boating and sailing in the summertime, and ice fishing, skating and skiing during the winter.  

The town’s center includes the Rindge Meeting House which is one of northern New England’s largest meeting houses, and the Smith Pavilion, which is home to wedding, concerts and community events.  Rindge is home to many schools and colleges, including Franklin Pierce College, Heritage Christian School, The Meeting School, Hampshire Country School and the Rindge Memorial School.  Rindge is also home to the Cathedral of Pines, part of the Annett State Forest and the Rindge Historical Society.

Rindge is comprised of 37.2 square miles of land and 2.8 square miles of water.  According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, the town’s population at the time included 5,451 people, 1,138 families, and 1,502 households.  The average family size was 3.3 and the average household size was 2.87.  Rindge's population in 2007 was estimated to have grown to 6,540.
